Registration

Online Registration is possible until Sept.1. After than, on-site registration is available at Salzburg Congress. Before registering, please read carefully the instructions below.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

The standard registration fee includes:
Attendance of the scientific programme (except for accompanying persons), conference bag with programme and abstract book, entrance to the welcome reception with snacks and drinks, and to the Concert Reception at Mirabell Palace, and coffee breaks during scientific sessions. Lunches are not provided.

 

The Gala Dinner requires an additional payment of € 80.

 

Registration and abstract submission can be performed in a few steps via this website. Registrations as well as payments will be confirmed by e-mail. The following sections provide you with more detailed information about registration and abstract submission.

Participants who register also with the preceding PRION 2010 Conference at www.prion2010.org are entitled to a 20% refund on both registration fees. That refund will be tranferred after ICN 2010. Registration will also be possible on-site during the Congress (on-site registration fees apply).


For registration the following categories for participants apply:


Reduced: Students, trainees & young researchers born on Jan. 1, 1978, or later; and Participants from developing countries (developing countries are defined according to the World Bank Country Classification of Low-income and Lower-middle-income economies; for more information click here to see the Country Classification data at the World Bank website (www.worldbank.org)


Accompanying person (guest): An accompanying person must be a guest of a registered participant. Individuals under the age of 16 cannot attend the meeting without adult supervision. The fee includes a badge and admittance to the social events. Guests are not admitted to the scientific events.
 

INITIAL SUBMISSION


If you are a speaker or an invited participant, please contact the Congress Secretariat about your registration details. If you want to register someone as a guest, refer to the Accompanying persons section.

 

Access
Connect to the ICN website, click on Registration then on the registration form link. Use the pull-down menu to select a registration category. Fill in the fields with the appropriate information and click on Continue.


Registration
You are required to go through the steps of the registration form. The form will be saved by clicking on Continue at the last step.


Step 1
Registration category
Click on the appropriate radio button corresponding to your status as standard or reduced registrant. The registration fee will be filled automatically according to your status (see registration fees & categories).


Step 2
Personal information
The personal information must be typed in the appropriate fields on the registration form. Please check that your email address is correct, as all information concerning ICN will be sent to you via this electronic address. Please indicate the number of accompanying persons, if any.

Accompanying persons
Please provide the personal information of accompanying persons, if any.


Step 4
Gala Dinner
This fee is automatically calculated if you have selected this option on the registration form.


Step 5
Hotel Registration
If you want to book a hotel room, please make your selection among the various options. The rate is automatically added to the final amount. If you do not want to book a hotel room now, you may contact panoramatours petz@panoramatours.com and get a detailed PDF about booking options.


Step 6
Transfer
If you want to make a reservation for a transfer, please make your selection among the various options. The rate is automatically added to the final amount. Final check and send
Please check all items on the form for correctness and confirm this by clicking on the button. You may print this form for your files. Last, click on Check and Send. Your registration data are saved, and you will receive an email to the given email address with all your information.


Step 8
Means of payment
The recommended means of payment is by credit card (Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard). ICN 2010 has subcontracted payment by credit card to a secure payment service that guarantees confidentiality and security. Please proceed immediately with the payment by Credit Card. You can also pay by bank transfer. Please note that the payment must be sent free of charge for the beneficiary and that there are additional handling fees (€ 15) for this means of payment. Please enter the bank transfer reference in the appropriate field. Institutional orders (from universities, institutes, etc.) and cheques are not accepted.

 

Confirmation e-mail
Your registration ID and confidential code for submitting abstracts are mentioned on this confirmation; you will need these codes for all correspondence with the Conference secretariat, or to modify your abstract. You should receive a confirmation of your registration by e-mail within 24h-48h. If you do not receive this e-mail, please check your e-mail address.

 

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS


You must send supporting documents either as a PDF file attached to an e-mail to Prof. Herbert Budka

Standard Fee
• If you pay by credit card, you have completed your registration: DO NOT send anything to the secretariat.
• If you pay by bank transfer, send a copy of your registration confirmation together with a copy of the bank transfer receipt.


Do not send a copy of your abstract confirmation.

 

Reduced Fee
Please send
• A proof of your age or nationality,
• A copy of your registration confirmation,
• In addition, if you pay by bank transfer, please enclose a copy of the bank transfer receipt.

CANCELLATION POLICY


Registration
Cancellations are accepted by e-mail to the Congress secretariat, using the contact form. The registration fee will be refunded minus 30% for cancellations received not later than May 31, 2010. Thereafter no refunds will be made. All refunds will be processed AFTER the Congress. Please note that if you are 1st author of an abstract and cancel your registration not later than May 31, 2010, your abstract will not be published.


Abstract withdrawal only
Abstract withdrawal can be requested by e-mail to the ICN Office, using the contact form. Only first authors are allowed to withdraw an abstract. State your name, registration number and confidential code in the e-mail message. Withdrawal of an abstract without cancelling registration does not entail refund of the registration fee. Deadline for withdrawal is May 31, 2010.


Abstract without paid registration
Submitted abstracts will not be published if the first author cancelled his/her registration not later than May 31, 2010.

 

LETTER OF INVITATION


A letter of invitation can be obtained after your registration process has been completed. Contact the meeting secretariat with your request via the contact form. The letter will be sent to you by e-mail as a PDF file.

 

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE


Certificates of attendance will be issued at the registration desk.
